Henry® Single-Shot Rifle with Brass Receiver provides shooters with an ultra-reliable, centerfire rifle that’s high on quality and performance. The Henry Single Shot utilizes a single hinge pin and an opening lever located on the upper frame. The external, rebounding hammer functions as the safety, and cannot touch the firing pin unless the trigger if pulled fully to the rear. A non-ejecting extractor places the cartridge where it can be easily removed by hand. A dovetailed, brass-bead, front sight and an adjustable, folding, rear sight allow precise shot placement, and the barrel is drilled and tapped for attaching a scope mount. This Henry single shot is constructed with a hardened brass receiver with enough strength to handle magnum ammunition. The buttstock and forend are made of oil-finished walnut, and the buttstock comes with a brass butt plate. The Henry® Single-Shot Rifle with Brass Receiver easily disassembles into 2 pieces for transport by removing the hinge pin, without removing the fore-end.
